From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel at home, sharing their local insights and a warm 'pura vida' welcome that set the tone for my stay. The property boasts lush gardens that attract diverse bird species, including my favorite, the Ferruginous Pygmy-Owl. It was refreshing to relax by the outdoor pool while savoring the delicious local cuisine at Lenchos, the on-site restaurant, which offered a delightful range of dishes, including fresh fruit and Costa Rican coffee for breakfast. The free airport shuttle made my trip seamless, especially after the long flight, and the beautiful trails nearby provided an excellent opportunity to explore the local biodiversity, a passion that resonates deeply with my work as an ecologist. Hotel Robledal stands out as an exceptional lodging choice that encourages sustainable tourism while offering comfort and a personal touch. I highly recommend it for travelers looking to immerse themselves in Costa Rica's remarkable ecosystems.
